Fiber Optic Cords and Pigtails P/N System
This page shows all the available combinations of AT&T fiber-optic cords and pigtails.
The following steps should be followed to define the exact product needed.
Notes:
a. All AT&T fiber-optic cords and pigtails are halogen-free, low smoke and flame retardant (LS0H).
b. The default cable diameters are indicated in the following sample catalog pages. Other options available.
c. The default formation of all duplex cords is ZIP (FIG-8). Other options available.
d. All cords shown in the catalog are standard-loss type. Low-loss cords are available upon request.
The generic P/N of AT&T fiber-optic cords and pigtails has the following format:

1. Replace the R with the product type needed.
2. Replace the FF with the relevant Fiber Code selected from page B.6.
3. Replace the A with the relevant Connector Code from one of the pages of B.4.1 section for one end of the cord.
4. Replace the B with the relevant Connector Code from one of the pages of B.4.1 section for the other end of the cord.
Note: In pigtails B=0.
5. Replace the LLL with the required length in dm.
Examples:
053 = 5.3 m cord length.
185 = 18.5 m cord length.
Note: Default lengths are indicated in the following sample catalog pages.
6. Replace the X with the required loss.
7. Replace the CC with the required Cable Jacket Color from the table below.
Note: Default colors are indicated in the following sample catalog pages.
T = Standard Loss Cord
S = Low-Loss Cord
L = Super Low-Loss Cord
P = Port-Lock Standard Loss Cord - Both sides locking
N = Port-Lock Standard Loss Cord - Only one side locking
Q = Port-Lock Low-Loss Cord - Both sides locking
R = Port-Lock Low-Loss Cord - Only one side locking
A = Port-Lock Super Low-Loss Cord - Both sides locking
B = Port-Lock Super Low-Loss Cord - Only one side locking
Select the Connector Code from section B.4.1, one for each end of the cord.
Indicate the required length in dm.
Example: LLL=053 indicates a length of 5.3 m.
Select the Cable Jacket Color from the table below.
